Facilitator Masterclass - 2023
In the Facilitator School i learned all about applying the right facilitation methods and techniques, how to improve group decision making processes and ideations, how to deal with different people and even difficult participants, and last but not least cultivating trust, creativity and well-being in a group. This has been very useful at work, either for planning workshops myself, or sometimes intervening when a meeting is going the in the wrong path.
MBA - Master of business administration - 2022
I find it is essential for UX designers to understand the business side of things, so i challenged myself (successfully) to graduate at the Quantic school of business. I picked Quantic because the curriculum is very up-to-date, i specialized in Entrepeneurship and my Capstone Project - a Businessplan for a DEI Consulting Agency - achieved max grade.
Certification as Usability Consultant - 2013
After a few years dipping my toes in different design areas i found my match - User experience. Back then it was a developing field under the names of Human Computer Interaction or Usability. I certified as a Usability Consultant at Artop - Institut an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin to define my upcoming career.
Kommunikationsdesign (Diplom) - 2008
I began my design studies in Portugal and after a successful Erasmus Semester at the University of applied sciences in Augsburg i was invited to officially transfer to the University. After a Semester learning german to pass my language admission exam, i moved to germany to study and finished my Diploma here.
